Air Shipments affected by The National Congress of the Communist Party of China

From October 16 to October 24, 2017, any airfreight cargo from or via Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) and that needs to be stored for 24 hours in the security area will not be accepted, as an enhanced security measure for the 19th  National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Shipments that are typically required to be held for 24 hours security check are as follows:

A package's width over 155cm or height over 180cm, or weight over 1,500kg per package since they cannot be screened by an X-ray machine at the terminal(s).

Please be aware that all airfreight shipments that fit these criteria will be affected and delayed if they are departing from or being transferred via Beijing during this time.
