Terminal Issues at the Port of NY & NJ

Dear Valued Customer, 

Please note that, Global Container Terminal Bayonne (GCT Bayonne), APM and Port Newark Container Terminal (PNCT) located at the Port of New York and New Jersey are currently experiencing congestion related to a surge in import volume. Truckers are reporting turn around times in excess of 7-8 hours to pick up containers from these terminals. 

As a result of these conditions, we are anticipating possible delivery delays, demurrage and chassis shortage for shipments discharged at GCT Bayonne, APM and PNCT.
